Please pardon my absence. I've been away for the last week, meeting and getting to know my sweet little nephew! I wish I could share his brilliant spirit with you all but he's just a teensy bundle yet and it's a little early for the world stage. In any case, thank you for all of your well wishes and messages of congratulations :)

About the clothes. . . I wanted to title this post 'Salty & Sweet' because little sis says my sunglasses remind her of Chester The Cheetah and my pedi polish is OPI's Strawberry Margarita- but the crazy long grass covered my little piggies so salt will have to do.

Frills and Thrills

I felt pretty fantastic when I woke up this morning. There is life in the air this week; both figuratively and possibly literally, speaking. On Thursday, I'm headed to North Carolina to visit my little sister. She will be bringing my nephew into the world any day now. This is all very exciting news for my family as this is certainly her grandest accomplishment yet!

'Hang in there sis! I know it's getting tough, but please try to hang on a couple more days until I get there.'

Silk Triumph

This scarf came to me by way of an "All Points Bulletin" to my family. Naturally, it was one of the first pieces to sell out when the Alexander McQueen Collection debuted at Target, but I was insistent and persistent. I couldn't imagine missing out.

It was my lovely little sister who finally struck gold after scavenging all Target stores within a 50 mile radius of her home. After catching a glimpse of a bare display with three lonely garments left on the rack, she had the foresight to check the actual accessories aisle in the hope that one may have made it's way there by mistake. . . one phone call, three back flips, 7 days and a post carrier later-- we were introduced :) Another Wardrobe Dream Come True!
