The first month of 2009 is going to be insane. Every weekend is spoken for and every evening is scheduled out. I can't think of more suitable attire for the opening Monday of a New Year than a matte-jersey, belted, collared dress. No more Christmas lights, chocolate confections, early days and long weekends. It's time to get moving on that stack of mail, trunk full of Holiday dry-cleaning, and multiple in-boxes full of e-mails; time to get caught up on the pace of life again. Happy New Year!
